Small Beginnings
I’m a web and graphic designer based in Texas. I’m originally from Texas and will forever talk about how much I'm ready to take a nap. I like to build for the best aesthetic possible. I try to think outside the box and approach issues and ideas from as many angles as possible. I gather much of my inspiration from personal experiences.
Artist Statement
In my work I focus on the idea of escapism and how it affects our lives. Everyone has their own means of escape no matter what background they come from. This allows my work to relate to anyone, because everyone has their own methods to relax or relieve themselves from an unpleasant life situation. Ultimately, I want my audience to reflect on themselves and how their actions and indulgences affect their lives. I want my audience to consider their own types of escapes on a physical, social, mental and philosophical level. My designs are heavily inspired by Takashi Murakami, and Banksy, with the use of colorful characters, and strong street art influences. I try to merge my love of cartoons, culture, and the need to share my message.
